Best Biking Mobile Games

17 March 2014  |

We know it certainly looks like summer is on the way at the moment, we all know that it won’t be long before it starts raining again.

Thanks to modern technology, this no longer means you have to be stuck inside wishing you could ride your bike all day.

Here’s our list of the best biking mobile games to keep you amused for hours on end while you wait for the sun.

Downhill Supreme

You will no doubt have heard of Downhill Supreme as it was launched with loads of publicity last year. It is the only game with official kit and there’s plenty of it, with even DVO jumping on board to help promote their emerald forks.

The game now has loads of tracks but is let down by the outrageous difficulty level, we warn you, attempting to get three stars could well end up in throwing your phone across the room!

Downhill Supreme 2 is on the way soon, so make sure you get this classic before it’s outdated.

Downhill Supreme is free on both the App store but not available on Google Play.

Best for: All the lush branded kit you can unlock.

Worst for: Being annoyingly hard.

Bike Mayhem Mountain Racing

This game is more like a slopestyle game than a downhill game, but there is still a racing against the clock element.

What it may lack in official kit it makes up for in its super fun gameplay, varied environments and massive variety of tricks (including massive whips).

The makers of this game are clearly big mountain bike fans with stages resembling both the North Shore and the Red Bull Rampage.

Bike Mayhem is currently free on the App store and 55p on Google Play.

Best for: Pretending you’re Cam Zink.

Worst for: A bit too cartoony for our liking.

Mad Skills Motocross 2

This is the game that has been slowly taking over our office since its release and its even better than the original. We know it’s not technically mountain bikes, but it was just too good to leave off this list.

The gameplay is nothing unique, but when you connect it with a social media account this game comes to life. You can download your friend’s runs and race against them, this makes for such an addicting game you may never ride your bike again!

There are only a few a tracks, but it is kept fresh by weekly challenges which feature all new tracks.

The game is free on both Google Play and the App Store.

Best for: Unbelievably addictive gameplay.

Worst for: Not actually having mountain bikes in.
